Hometown Veterinary Hospital serves the veterinary needs of pets in the Brandon, Jackson, and Flowood areas of Mississippi. Dr. Richard Kirby and Dr. Daniel Plunkett are our compassionate and experienced veterinarians, who are ready to care for the life of your precious pet. Our doctors have many years of successful experience in veterinary dental care, surgery, and reproductive services. Our offices newly opened in October of 2017, and offers the latest tools and equipment to the animals under our care. Our state-of-the-art facility includes digital radiography (x-ray), as well as a therapy laser to diagnose and care for your pet

Our offices newly opened in October of 2017. Dr. Kirby started his own Hometown Veterinary Services in an ambulance where he made house calls. The building on 471 was a lifelong dream that started in June of 1997. In the fall of 2016, Dr. Plunkett and Dr. Kirby started their journey of forming a partnership. That partnership led to building what is now Hometown Veterinary Hospital, the largest privately owned practice in Mississippi
