Overview

As a leading veterinarian in Billings, MT, Caring Hands Veterinary Hospital has been providing compassionate, high-quality care for pets in the Billings community since 1977. As an AAHA-accredited animal hospital, we uphold the highest standards of leading-edge veterinary medicine, ensuring your pets receive the best care possible. Whether it’s routine wellness exams, advanced diagnostics, or personalized treatment plans, we recognize that your pets are more than animals—they’re family. Our team is committed to earning your trust while keeping your furry, feathered, and scaly loved ones healthy and happy

The hospital has a rich history going back at least 40 years, first opening its doors as Veterinary Clinic West back when the surrounding area was mostly farm ground. Twenty-Fourth Street was, at the time, only a gravel road and still outside the city limits! As Billings grew the practice grew with it. Previous owners, Drs. Albright and Kuehn later purchased the hospital and changed the name to Caring Hands to reflect an exclusively small-animal practice. Dr. Kuehn would then go on to log twenty-four years as owner before retiring in 2018. Dr. Amber Herron became the new owner January 2, 2018, completing a seamless transition that kept all the previous staff in place
