Founded in 2024 by Dr. Anika Ward, Tobacco Root Vet is a solo practice built on the belief that rural communities deserve quality veterinary care without the runaround. Dr. Ward grew up in the valley as a ranch kid — riding fence lines, helping with calving, and learning early on what it means to care for animals as a way of life. She always knew she'd come back.
