We are a locally owned, full-service clinic providing comprehensive veterinary care for dogs and cats. Our clinic is clean, calm, and welcoming. It’s a place where anxious pets are handled with patience and pet owners feel heard. We’ve worked to create an atmosphere that’s professional and warm at the same time, because those two things shouldn’t be mutually exclusive

At the age of 6, I was bitten by our neighbor’s dog. On the way to the emergency room, we stopped at the local vet hospital to inquire about the status of the dog’s rabies vaccination. Within just a few minutes, my tears gave way to absolute joy as I was surrounded by pets of all kinds waiting to see their doctor. At dinner that night, I announced to my family that I was deciding on whether to be a bum or a pet doctor when I grew up. My folks, needless to say, were happy I chose the latter. I graduated from Rutgers University in 1977, with a BS in Animal Science. I then received my DVM from Aranetta University in the Philippines in 1981. My first position was at a mixed practice in Pleasantville, Illinois. In the Spring of 1986 Animals of Eden opened its doors!
