Overview

Providing complementary methods for your pet’s healing and gentle end-of-life care in the comfort of your home. By appointment only. Hillsborough, NC and surrounding communities

After I graduated from Oklahoma State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2004, North Carolina became my family’s new home. I worked for a private general practice in Durham for 9 years before co-founding Healing Paws Veterinary Hospital in Hillsborough, NC in 2015. When I saw the benefits of integrative modalities in my patients’ healing journeys, I felt called to explore more options that could complement conventional medicine and surgery. I chose to study herbal medicine and completed the Veterinary Herbal Apprenticeship at Purple Moon Herbs and Studies in 2023. During my studies, I found great purpose in helping animals pass with dignity and peace in their own home and guiding owners with love and support during the process
