Dr. Dixon began her career in emergency and critical care medicine, serving as a veterinarian since 2000 and practicing in the Charlotte area since 2008. In 2007, her chow chow Hayle developed hind-end weakness; she explored acupuncture and saw transformative results. She enrolled in the acupuncture certification program at Chi University, Ocala, FL, and in 2010 founded Shay Shay Veterinary Mobile
