Hendersonville Veterinary Hospital is a full-service, small animal practice located in Hendersonville, NC. Our veterinary staff is committed to providing the highest quality veterinary care to dogs and cats in a professional, friendly, and relaxed setting

Our hospital was established by Dr. H. A. Justus and was originally located on Spartanburg Highway when it was still a gravel road. It moved to its current location in 1978. In 1990, Dr. Zehr moved to Hendersonville and became an Associate with Dr. Justus. In 1994, Dr. Zehr purchased the hospital and began systematically upgrading and expanding our medical capabilities. In the late 1990s, we enlarged the reception area, added additional exam rooms, initiated a program of staff expansion and training, and added video endoscopy. Over the last ten years, we have upgraded our x-ray equipment, added a laser surgical unit, received American Animal Hospital Association Accreditation, and added state-of-the-art dental equipment and a digital dental x-ray unit. Our in-house laboratory now includes Heska benchtop serum chemical analyzers, a fecal centrifuge, EKG, and blood pressure machines
