Our mission, as a privately family-owned practice, is to provide personalized veterinary care, delivering quality medicine and ensuring that every patient receives the attention they deserve
Our hospital is named after Dr. Evans's personal dachshund, Hope. Hope was found on the side of the road in Miami, FL December 2014 with life-threatening injuries after being hit by a car. Dachshund Rescue of South Florida (DRSF) raised over $14K in less than 7 hours with over 600 contributors. Hope underwent several orthopedic surgeries and months of rehabilitation. Dr. Evans followed Hope's story on Facebook and applied to adopt her. Hope continued rehabilitation with Dr Evans. In the gentle warmth of Florida, amidst the tranquility of retirement, Hope lived out her golden years in serene contentment, cherished and adored. However, her peaceful existence was interrupted by the cruel onset of brain cancer, against which she bravely fought until her spirit gently departed. Named in her honor, Hope Vet Hospital ensures that her legacy lives on
