Overview

Urgent Vets for Pets is a walk-in practice with the goal of treating you and your pet like family. Our goal is to have your pet seen in a timely manner and get you both back home. Since Veterinary ERs are often focused on life-threatening emergencies, there can be extensive wait times for non-life-threatening conditions. This is why we are here to get your pet's urgent medical conditions treated in a timely manner at a reasonable cost

Urgent Vets for Pets was opened in early 2022, during the tail end of the COVID epidemic. The idea for Urgent Vets for Pets was to allow an option for pet owners to get their beloved companions seen and treated without having to wait for an appointment from their regular veterinarian

What reviewers say

95% Positive sentiment
based on 451 reviews

Urgent Vets for Pets offers exceptional walk-in and emergency veterinary care for dogs, cats, and exotic animals including birds, rabbits, and reptiles. The facility is exceptionally clean and well-maintained, providing a calm environment for anxious pets. The veterinary and technical staff are widely regarded as deeply compassionate, knowledgeable, and patient, taking time to sit on the floor with animals, explain treatment options clearly, and handle difficult end-of-life decisions with profound empathy. Services are affordably priced with transparent cost estimates provided upfront, and the practice offers convenient follow-up care including check-in calls. While wait times can occasionally be lengthy due to high patient volumes and capacity limits, the overall experience is overwhelmingly positive for pet owners seeking reliable medical attention when their regular veterinarian is unavailable.
