Dr. Kathy Haywood’s journey in veterinary medicine began on the farm where she was raised, inspiring a lifelong passion for animal care. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from North Carolina State University before continuing on to the NCSU College of Veterinary Medicine, where she received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM). After three years of practicing in Randolph County, Dr. Haywood found her professional home in Montgomery County. For the past 33 years, she has been a dedicated veterinarian at Montgomery Animal Clinic, where she leads with both expertise and compassion
