Overview

We offer farm, barn, and home visits for folks in the Piedmont Triad area and southern Virginia. We primarily treat horses, cattle, sheep, goats, and other livestock

Dr. Gemeinhardt graduated from Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1993 and opened her own veterinary practice in an area of North Carolina she had come to know and love while visiting family. Years later, Latitude 36 Mobile Veterinary Services is one of the few large animal practices in the region that caters to horses, cattle, small ruminants (sheep, goats), and camelids (llamas, alpacas) with equal dedication and expertise. Kim and her husband Walter built the practice from the ground up, starting with nothing but a piece of vacant farm land and an old mobile home. Walter was an essential part of the practice until his death in early 2014. However, his legacy lives on, as 'Latitude 36' would not have become a reality without him
