Dr. Benjamin F. Shelton III originally purchased our veterinary hospital on June 1st, 1985. After the practice grew popular with local pet owners over the course of several decades, Dr. Lauren S. Newman and son-in-law Dr. Jay C. Newman decided to continue the family tradition by joining the practice in the summer of 2013. Shortly after this period of rapid expansion, which transformed our animal hospital from a 1-veterinarian practice, to a 3-veterinarian operation, we were inspired to construct a brand-new, state-of-the-art 7,100 square foot veterinary hospital
