Harmony Heights Animal Hospital was the first veterinary clinic in Yadkin County. Established in the early 1950's by Dr. John Conway, Harmony Heights was a mixed animal practice with a focus on farm animals. Dr. Glenn Crawford purchased the practice in the 1960's, followed by Dr. Steve Wells in 1975. In 1984 Dr. James Arnold joined Dr. Wells as a new graduate and purchased the practice in 1985. Dr. Arnold moved the practice to its current location in 2001. Following Dr. Arnold's retirement in 2022, Dr. Cory Sechrist and his wife, Dr. Michaelene Sechrist, took over ownership of Harmony Heights Animal Hospital
