Overview

Susan Kyle, DVM, is a Nebraska native. She graduated from Burke High. She went on to attend the Medical Institute of Minnesota and received her degree as a Veterinary Laboratory Technician. Upon returning to Omaha, she decided to pursue a career in veterinary medicine. She attended UNO/UNL to receive a degree in Biology. After being accepted into veterinary medicine, she chose to attend the Iowa State School of Veterinary Medicine and received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree. With her husband, she moved to Joliet, Illinois. She worked at a small animal clinic, caring for dogs, cats, and exotics. She returned to Omaha and has remained there ever since. She and her husband have raised four children and currently have six grandchildren. She opened Paws n’ Claws Animal Hospital in Gretna, NE, on March 1, 2023
