Overview

Located in Southwest Nebraska, Veterinary Services is a progressive, mixed-animal veterinary practice that has served our clients in Nebraska, Kansas, and Colorado for the past 40 years. We are committed to provide our clients with the highest level of veterinary medicine, along with friendly and compassionate service

Veterinary Services was established in the 1980's by Dr. Dave Johnsen and the late Dr. Lex Thompson. Founded on the importance of faith, family and community, Lex and Dave gained the trust of their clients through several years of hard work and dedication to the industry. In the summer of 2010 they hired Dr. Troy Worth as an Associate Veterinarian. As the practice continued to grow, it became time to update the clinic buildings in 2012. Later on, Thompson retired with Worth purchasing his half of the business in 2014. Worth and Johnsen managed the practice until Johnsen's retirement. Dr. Worth is currently the sole practice owner

Mission — We continue to hold tight to the basic principles and values the business was originally built upon: honesty, integrity and excellence in veterinary medicine for your animals. Our clients are more than customers - they are like family!
