Peterborough Veterinary Clinic has been a privately owned animal hospital in the community for nearly 50 years. The clinic’s founder, Dr. Inghram sold to Dr. June Sailor-O’Day with the intention to keep this a community business for the people and their beloved pets. Dr. June has carried the torch for nearly 30 years and is now ready to retire. After practicing in several areas of NH Dr. Estle moved home to her family’s farm in Bennington with her husband and 2 daughters 7 years ago. Since that time it has been her dream to have a private practice of her own in the Monadnock region. After several failed attempts (repeatedly being outbid by corporate buyers) Dr. Estle was hoping to some day build her own practice. Meanwhile, Dr. June was repeatedly declining offers from corporations as she desperately wanted to keep PVC private! With care being transferred to Dr. Estle PVC also gets a new face. We are excited to announce the clinic’s new business name… Private Roots Veterinary: Your Forever Vet. This name has deep meaning and symbolizes the importance of private practice, maintaining the human animal bond and valuing our community’s roots
