Dr. William Lowe opened the doors of the Broadview Animal Hospital of Rochester on November 20, 1984. The original structure was a 1,600 square foot renovated dairy building on the Broadview Farm. Dr. Michael Norris joined the practice in 1987 and then became a partner in 1988. In Oct of 1988 Milton Veterinary Clinic (now Broadview Animal Hospital of Milton) was opened to serve the Milton and surrounding communities. In 2003 a new, Broadview Animal Hospital in Rochester was built with a 6,500 square foot addition that was attached to the original building. In 2008, Dr. Christine Davis and Dr. J. Wesley Chapin were welcomed as additional managing members. Dr. William Lowe retired after thirty years of service in 2014. In 2018, Dr. Norris retired and transferred his managing membership to Dr. Cameron MacDearmid. In the Summer of 2020, Broadview Animal Hospital of Dover opened its state of the art 14,000 sq/ft hospital. It features two surgery suites, a dental suite, 7 day a week urgent care, advanced surgery, reproduction services, separate feline facilities and fear friendly environment. In 2022, Dr. Daniel Kelleher joined the managing membership to help guide the business into the future. At the end of 2025, Dr. Christine Davis retired after 33 years of dedicated service. While we have had some changes in the managing ownership over the years due to retirements, Broadview Animal Hospital continues to this day to be a non-corporate, privately owned local business that can easily adapt to the needs of our own community
