Established more than 40 years ago, Exeter Veterinary Hospital has been providing quality veterinary services for small animals in the seacoast area. The hospital was originally located at 165 High Street. Dr. Bassett joined in 1982 as an associate to Dr. Alvin Schwartz and later acquired the practice in 1990. Dr. MacClinchy began working part-time in 2014 and purchased the hospital from Dr. Bassett in 2016. Exeter Veterinary Hospital was the home of Ugly Bat Boy, who passed away in 2013
