Dr. Stephen J. Batich always had a reverence for animals. It was an accident suffered by his childhood Irish Setter Holly that motivated him to pursue a career in veterinary medicine. He graduated from Montclair State University in 1969, taught science, then earned his DVM at University of Parma in Italy
