Zia Mobile Vet

We are a small animal general practice located in Dona Ana. We were established in late 2020 by Dr. Lauren Reyes (previously known as Dr. Short) and have grown to incorporate a veterinary partner, Dr. Cassandra Rucks (previously Dr. Hoisington) as of February 2023. We provide a wide array of services for clients in the Las Cruces and surrounding areas, including, but not limited to: general health & wellness services, vaccinations and in-house diagnostics such as radiographs & bloodwork. We also provide small animal general surgical procedures such as spays, neuters, and dentals. We are available for various in-home/mobile service appointments including in-home euthanasia

Dr. Lauren Reyes (previously Dr. Short) graduated from Oklahoma State College of Veterinary Medicine in 2010 and has been practicing mixed animal medicine in Las Cruces, NM since May of 2010. She opened Zia Mobile Vet in November 2020 with the help of her husband Pete Reyes and stepson Isaiah Reyes. Together, with the help of their amazing staff and clientele, they grew the practice from a pickup truck and single stainless-steel bucket of medication to the thriving practice it is today
