Mesa Vista Veterinary Hospital was established in the Spring of 1971 as a mobile mixed veterinary practice by Truman Smith, DVM. After doing equine work at the race track for twenty years, we have a special interest in equine medicine and lameness. After standing both Thoroughbred and quarter horse stallions for about 35 years, we provide a special experience in equine reproduction and cooled and frozen semen breeding. Our practice has slowly evolved and is now 60% small animal with complete medical and surgical capabilities
