After 24 years as an associate, Dr. Peter Spinks decided to open his own practice, and purchased Boston Veterinary Clinic. Six months of extensive remodeling was accomplished, through help of professionals where needed, and also family and friends. Significant equipment was introduced to add to what Dr. Nowak had established; the result is a modern veterinary facility in a historical building
