South Putnam Animal Hospital was founded in 1984 with the vision to provide the highest quality veterinary services for the special pets of the Hudson Valley. Dr. Julie Fixman, who is a board certified Diplomate of the American Board of Veterinary Practitioners in Canine and Feline Practice, joined the practice in 2001 and now leads our veterinary team as Medical Director. She continues to embrace the longstanding motto of the practice for clients to 'Bring us your problems, questions, and concerns, and we will provide you with solutions, answers, and understanding'. Under new direction, our doctors and staff continue to grow in capability while retaining focus on service and compassion with modern veterinary medical technology to give you the best options to care for your pet
