Not everyone finds their calling on the first try — and Dr. S is living proof that the best detours lead somewhere wonderful. A proud Levittown, Long Island native, she set out on what was supposed to be a simple gap year and discovered her true purpose along the way. In 2014, she earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from Western University of Health Sciences, then spent years sharpening her skills across various veterinary practices on Long Island. But conventional medicine only told part of the story.
