Dr. Neil Hess and his wife, Leslie, discovered their passion for Narrowsburg, NY, during the pandemic when they purchased a home in the heart of town. They were captivated by Narrowsburg's charm, the warm-hearted people, and the sense of community that enveloped them. Eager to immerse themselves further into the Narrowsburg lifestyle, the couple pondered ways to contribute to the community. It wasn't long before they realized that opening a veterinary practice could be the perfect next chapter in their lives, especially as their children were growing up. Dr. Hess, no stranger to starting successful practices, having previously established his own and grown it into a thriving five-doctor operation, enthusiastically embraced the idea. Support and encouragement poured in from friends and neighbors, assuring Dr. Hess and Leslie that the demand for a skilled veterinarian in the area was undeniable. After an extensive search, they stumbled upon an ideal location — a charming log cabin building that was once the old Jeff Bank. With the perfect spot secured, the vision for Narrowsburg Veterinary began to crystallize
