Overview
At Athens Vet Clinic we are committed to providing quality care at every stage of your pet's life. From routine preventive care for your pets to early detection and treatment of a wide range of conditions and diseases and surgical care, we have the expertise to provide the care your pet needs at every stage of life
The Athens Veterinary Clinic has continued to provide care to both large and small animals for quite some time. Dr. James Bratton and his brother-in-law, Dr. Marvin Phillips, started the "Athens Veterinary Hospital" back in 1952. Dr. Erik Aanestad purchased the practice in 1993 and it has continued to operate as the Athens Veterinary Clinic. Dr. Aanestad passed away in 2015, but his son, Dr. Marshall Aanestad, has since graduated from The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine and has revived our multi-generation practice
