Woodland Run Equine Veterinary Facility is a full service equine veterinary hospital specializing in lameness and sports medicine. We have 8 full time veterinarians on staff. We are located in Grove City, Ohio, just south of the city of Columbus and are open year round to best serve the needs of you and your horses

The practice was started in Grove City Ohio by Dr. Rick Mather in 1980. Construction of the current facility began in 1985. We are now staffed by eight full time veterinarians, including one board certified surgeon. We have a satellite location in Florida to support the horses at winter training facilities in the South as well as services available in New Jersey. Our doctors are committed to continuing education and attend conferences nationwide to stay on top of the latest medical and surgical advances in equine veterinary care. Our 35 stall hospital facility includes 1 surgery suite with 2 recovery stalls, full pharmacy and lab, two treatment areas and 8 fully-equipped ambulatory vehicles. Our doctors travel to many areas to meet the needs of our equine patients at their various training venues. We are very proud of our support staff, consisting of our office personnel, licensed veterinary technicians, veterinary assistants, and facility supervisors.
