Dr. Gaston received his doctorate in veterinary medicine from the Ohio State University in 1987. After almost 11 years in various roles as an employee and contractor, he purchased a small practice in Harrison, Ohio, in March 1998. He renamed the practice to Veterinary Wellness Center to reflect his vision for integrative care and utilizing the principles of functional medicine for pets
