Since 1998, Appleseed Valley Veterinary Hospital has been committed to providing pets with the highest standard of care throughout Lexington and surrounding communities. Brothers Dr. Abel Hittinger and Dr. Jobe Hittinger grew up right here in Richland County, where their love for animals blossomed early. Inspired by their weekend work for a local veterinarian during their school years, both pursued careers in veterinary medicine, earning Bachelor of Science degrees in Animal Science and Doctorates of Veterinary Medicine from The Ohio State University. In 1998, they brought their dream full circle by establishing Appleseed Valley Veterinary Hospital. In 2005, they expanded their vision by acquiring Clearfork Veterinary Hospital in Bellville, bringing their trusted, heartfelt care to even more families across the region
