Overview
We focus on a relationship style of veterinary medicine. We believe that pets are family, so our veterinary center embraces this philosophy. Our staff is unique and professional all at the same time
Independence Pet Hospital was formed in 2020 and it is owned by Dr. Erin Alessi. Dr. Alessi is a graduate of Lakota West High School and has been a practicing veterinarian since 2009. She graduated from The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Erin started out as a mixed animal veterinarian, working on dairy cattle, goats, sheep, pigs, as well as dogs and cats in central Pennsylvania. In 2012, Dr. Alessi decided to return home with her supportive husband to be closer to family so they could raise their children. Dr. Alessi formed Independence Pet Hospital and opened the office in September 2020
Mission — It is our passion and mission to treat each pet as if they are a member of our own family. We practice respect, courtesy, empathy, and responsibility on a daily basis
