Dr. Sophie Heikkila is a 2013 graduate of The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine, focusing her clinical education in equine medicine. After graduation, she completed an internship at South Shore Equine Clinic in Plympton, MA. She returned home to the greater Cincinnati region in 2014 and joined Agri-Pet Veterinary Service where she practiced until purchasing the equine portion of the business in 2022, creating Acorn Equine
