Overview

At Pfister Animal Hospital, we understand that your pets are more than just animals – they're cherished members of your family. When they're under the weather, need a caring place to stay while you're on vacation, or are in need of a spruce up, you want a place that provides comprehensive, compassionate care. That's why we're dedicated to being your one-stop shop for all your pet's needs, from grooming to wellness checks and everything in between

Pfister Animal Hospital's journey began in 1993 when Dr. Robert Pfister, a proud 1988 graduate of Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine, decided to create a unique service for pets and their owners. Armed with a profound love for animals and a pioneering vision, Dr. Pfister sought to establish a facility that went beyond basic care, providing comprehensive, compassionate, and personalized services for every pet that walked through our doors. Joining Dr. Pfister in this mission was his wife, Dr. Andrea Hurley, also an esteemed 1989 graduate of Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Hurley brings extensive expertise and a nurturing touch to the hospital, overseeing the rehabilitation department ensuring that pets under our care receive the best treatment and recovery plans. Over the years, Pfister Animal Hospital has grown, assembling a team of talented, caring veterinarians, veterinary technicians, veterinary assistant, kennel technicians, and groomers
