Overview

Oklahoma Animal Urgent Care is a locally and privately owned urgent veterinary clinic in Edmond, OK, providing after-hours care for dogs and cats when urgent problems come up, and your primary veterinarian is unavailable. We welcome walk-ins and serve families across the Oklahoma City area—including Deer Creek, Yukon, Mustang, Piedmont, El Reno, and Guthrie—with a transparent, open-concept approach that keeps you included every step of the way

In 2019, Dr. Stevens adopted a beautiful Australian Shepherd, Indie. She is so sweet and loving, but she is anxious and timid. It takes time for her to adjust to people and as I learned her behavior patterns and mannerisms, I thought about what it would be like to take her into a traditional veterinary clinic. I didn’t want that for Indie and I don’t want that for you or your pets. That’s why our team at Oklahoma Animal Urgent Care wants to include you in your pet’s treatment. I’ve created an open-concept clinic which allows you to be with your pet every step of the way

Mission — Our mission is simple: provide compassionate care when urgent problems arise and a primary veterinarian is unavailable. We treat non-life-threatening injuries and illnesses, then help coordinate the next steps with your regular veterinarian for ongoing care. We also work to support local veterinary partners and emergency hospitals by directing truly emergent cases to the right place at the right time
