Overview

We provide an opportunity for sick or injured dogs and cats to be seen on the same day. When you don’t need an emergency room and you don’t want to wait to see your primary veterinarian, urgent care is for you

Dr. Jeff Boyer has been in small animal, private practice for 20 years. He has a passion for health and wellness, both personally and professionally. Having attended Westmoore High school, local universities, and finally Oklahoma State University’s College of Veterinary Medicine, Dr. Jeff returned to the Oklahoma City area in 2003 to practice with his father. Under Dr. Ron’s mentorship, Dr. Jeff grew to love the practices of wellness and preventive care, strategic and timely diagnostics, appropriate treatment plans, and the value of communication between client, patient, and veterinarian. In 2022, the opportunity to practice alongside another family member, Dr. Jake Boyer of SpayXperts, has Dr. Jeff using his passions to open up “Vet Sense Urgent Pet Care”. This is a veterinary practice designed to accomplish multiple goals. First, it will allow sick and/ or injured dogs and cats, to be checked out by a veterinarian and treated in a timely manner. Second, it will help you manage your pet’s health through multiple wellness and disease management plans. Lastly, it will make communication, whether test results or doctor’s orders, an integral part of the veterinary experience. The result is a practice helping more pets and clients improve their quality of life. Dr. Jeff is excited to bring Vet Sense Urgent Pet Care to the Oklahoma City Metro and Moore area communities. This area is home to the Boyer family and veterinary medicine is what we do
