Marina Animal Clinic was established in 1979 by Dr. Jimmie Baldwin and Dr. George Haggerty with the shared vision of combining the personalized care of a small-town veterinary practice with the accessibility and advanced capabilities of a modern urban clinic. Their goal was to offer extended hours, state-of-the-art diagnostics, and hospitalization services to better serve the community and their pets. Dr. Baldwin retired in 1997 to focus on his passion for endurance horse riding and equine medicine. He passed away in 2020. Dr. Haggerty—fondly known as “Doc”—passed away in 2018 and is remembered with deep affection by the clinic and its clients. Today, our dedicated team of veterinarians proudly carries forward their legacy, delivering high-quality, compassionate veterinary care to every patient we serve
