Overview
We understand the special role that your pet plays in your family and are dedicated to becoming your partner in your pet’s health care
Dr. Johnson began the veterinary practice back in the 40s when he transformed an old house on Canyon Rd. into a veterinary hospital. We have been taking care of generations of families and their pets ever since. Over this time we’ve earned a reputation for providing premium care and personalized services at affordable prices. We have formed lasting bonds with our patients, clients and the community. Dr. William Hughes owned the practice from 1974 to 2021, until he retired. In 1976 the practice moved from Canyon Rd to the Beaverton Mall (now called Cedar Hills Crossing). We have been at our current location on Allen Blvd. since 1998
Mission — Our goal is to provide you with the latest in diagnostic capabilities that allow us to better serve you and your pet by providing the most information regarding your pet’s potential medical condition. With this information, we can better choose the most appropriate treatment options and assist you in making an informed decision regarding the continued health of your pet. At Canyon Pet we strive to promote a friendly environment where tails wag, cats purr, and our clients find reasons to smile
