Columbia Equine Hospital was originally started as a one-doctor ambulatory practice in 1983 by Dr. Scott Hansen. He quickly realized that his patients could benefit from care that could not be offered in the field. The hospital now supports the ambulatory practice that has grown to five full-time veterinarians and one consulting dental specialist
