Country Animal Hospital is mixed animal practice in Hermiston, Oregon. We offer consultations, exams, surgery and dentistry services for companion animals, livestock and equine. We strive to partner with you to provide the highest standard of care for your family's pet. Together, we take a proactive approach that can maximize your companion's length and quality of life. With your input, we develop examination plans, vaccine protocols, lab testing schedules, and preventative treatment plans that are specific for your pet's needs

Dr. Burgess has owned Country Animal Hospital since 1987 and has been practicing veterinary medicine for 40 years. He did his undergraduate studies at Oregon State University and got his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Washington State University in 1974. After graduating vet school he was an Associate Veterinarian in Walla Walla, Washington. After which, he worked in Omak, Washington for a while before moving to Hermiston
