Holistic healing with an allopathic & natural approach

Nehalem Animal Healing is a unique veterinary clinic founded by Dr. Matthew Didlake. In 2008, Dr. Didlake bought a building in downtown Nehalem, OR, and began working on it on weekends while still working at Columbia Vet in Astoria, OR. Dr. Didlake's vision was to create a veterinary clinic that stood out from other clinics, one that provided excellent medical care in a comfortable and friendly atmosphere. After many weekends and with the help of friends, the clinic was transformed into the warm and welcoming environment that it is today. It was truly a labor of love. In 2010, Dr. Didlake began performing surgeries for United Paws, a local non-profit organization, even before the clinic was open to the public. The clinic officially opened in 2011 and has been very well received by clients who appreciate the excellent service and friendly staff
