Pendleton Veterinary Clinic was founded in 1947 as the first veterinary clinic in our community and has since evolved to the full-service small animal practice it is today providing high quality and thorough medical care to companion animals!
Pendleton Veterinary Clinic was founded in 1947 by a local veterinarian, Dr. Russel Whitford. It was the first veterinary clinic in the area and, at that time, was a mixed animal practice. There were 3 doctors and it wasn’t uncommon for them to fly to do their farm calls as they saw patients from Umatilla to Harney County. The clinic has evolved since that time and is now strictly a small animal hospital. As the years went on our practice outgrew our existing location at 1901 SW Court. Plans were made to expand in a new location and after two years of planning and building, we were able to move into our new clinic at 625 SW Emigrant Ave. Our current facility allows us to better serve our clients and community and offer an expanded range of services
