Overview

Where your pet’s health always comes first. For over 40 years, families in Doylestown and throughout Bucks County have trusted us to care for their beloved pets. Our privately owned clinic combines modern veterinary medicine with compassionate, personalized service — so you and your pet feel at home from the moment you walk through our doors

Founded in 1983 by Dr. Dale Mantell, Doylestown Animal Medical Clinic was established with a simple yet powerful goal: to create a locally rooted veterinary practice grounded in compassion and excellence. What started as a small-town clinic quickly earned a reputation for personalized care and clinical expertise. Over the decades, DAMC has grown to meet the evolving needs of our community, offering advanced diagnostics, surgical services, integrative therapies, and same-day urgent care — all delivered with the same thoughtful service our clients have come to expect. Now under the new ownership of Dr. John Marcus and Angela Marcus, our clinic continues to honor the foundation laid by Dr. Mantell while expanding and modernizing our services for today’s pet families. We remain proudly independent, allowing us to focus on what matters most: the health and happiness of your pet

Mission — We believe in kind and honest care that supports both pets and their people. Our mission is to deliver high-quality, personalized veterinary services while creating lasting relationships built on trust, transparency, and respect
