Our 5-doctor practice provides veterinary care for horses, cattle, sheep, goats, and camelids. We service most of Lancaster County and provide emergency service 24/7/365
Eastern Lancaster County Veterinary Clinic opened for business on August 4, 2009 when Smoketown Veterinary Hospital separated into three divisions. On that date, Dr. Jerry Wenger and Dr. John Kreider (both retired) bought and assumed control of the farm-animal portion of the Smoketown practice. Shortly thereafter, Dr. Andrew Ellis and Dr. Tim Van Grouw became partner veterinarians. Dr. Danielle Abrams joined our team in 2020 and became a partner in 2024. Dr. McKayla Miller was hired in 2023 as an associate veterinarian

Appointments & hours
Our doctors answer the phones from 7:00-8:00 a.m. daily, Monday through Friday. Our secretaries are available Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 3:30 PM. An answering service handles phone calls at all other times
