Overview

At Critter Care Veterinary Hospital, we want to be more than just your pet’s doctor. We want to become your partner; to work together toward the shared goal of helping your animal family member enjoy a truly amazing life

Critter Care has been proudly owned and operated by Dr. Portugal since 1996. In April 2025, her daughter, Dr. Portugal-Kellher, joined the practice after earning her doctorate. Together, they continue the family’s long-standing commitment to providing compassionate, skilled, and reliable animal care
