Bayside was founded by Dr. Jennifer Trachtman with a new approach to veterinary care in mind. With the recent trend of medicine moving toward shorter appointments, less communication and compartmentalized care, she was concerned about the potential for patient wellness to be easily compromised. At the same time, her experiences working in both emergency and general practice opened her eyes to the need for fear-free medical care. As a result, Bayside Veterinary Care provides progressive, fear-free medicine with traditional values
