OSVS was started by a husband-and-wife veterinary team who wanted to bring exceptional specialty care and 24-hour emergency services to the pets of Rhode Island and their families. We took some of the best ideas from university veterinary schools and created a teaching hospital that helps train the next generation of veterinarians

Mission — We are united by a simple belief, if we treat every pet as we would treat our own, then we will be successful. This mission has attracted an elite team of over 300 veterinary professionals who work hard every day for a simple reason… we believe in the bond that you share with your pet. We exist to protect it
