The Village Veterinary Center, a small family business, was launched in Wickford, Rhode Island in the spring of 2014 by Dr. David Bergmann and his wife, Gioia Bergmann. As a modern, full service animal hospital, The Village Veterinary Center uses leading edge equipment and time trusted techniques to maintain the health and well-being of their patients. Forming lasting relationships of trust and consideration with pet owners is one of their highest priorities. The practice is housed in the former Wickford Flowers building, a fixture in the Village for over 100 years. In the building’s transformation to an animal hospital, we preserved the original character of the building and repurposed the greenhouse as part of the reception area
