Built on the foundation of providing outstanding customer service along with the most progressive medicine for our patients, Ohlandt Vet Clinic was established in 1983 by the beloved Johnny Ohlandt, Jr, DVM. For decades, the clinic has been a prominent and trusted fixture on James Island. Dr. Ohlandt set the standard for exceptional pet care with a friendly family feel, which we continue to pride ourselves in today, following his retirement from the hospital practice in 2014. The practice was later purchased by Dr. Ryan Gipe — a Charleston native who returned after veterinary school to practice medicine — and renamed Oceanside Veterinary Clinic
