Ambassador Animal Hospital was founded by Dr. Robert Edwards in 1961 as a small, one-veterinarian practice. In 1971, Dr. Edwards relocated the practice to its current home on Forest Drive. He continued to practice veterinary medicine until his retirement in 2001, when he sold the practice to Drs. Joe and Erin Trimmier
