Overview

Long Animal Wellness provides compassionate in-home veterinary care throughout the Upstate of South Carolina, with a focus on comfort, convenience, and quality of life for every pet. We offer wellness and non-urgent sick exams, puppy and kitten visits, litter exams, telemedicine consultations for questions and follow-up care, as well as hospice care and in-home euthanasia services for dogs. In-home euthanasia services for cats will be available beginning in September. We also provide diagnostics, medications, vaccines, treatments, and referrals to ensure your pet receives comprehensive, personalized care at every stage of life

Long Animal Wellness started after hearing many requests for in-home veterinary care — from owners with busy schedules, owners that had trouble getting their animal to the veterinary clinic, moms taking care of pets and children (like me!), and many more. When practicing in a clinic setting, we also saw a need for in-home care due to many animals either feeling anxious or fearful in the clinic, animals with mobility issues making it hard to travel, or animals with complex medical problems that needed extra attention

Mission — Our goal is to provide quality and comprehensive care within your home that is tailored to your needs and your pet’s needs. We aim to do this by allotting for longer examination times than most traditional veterinary clinics so that we can go slow with your pet when needed, ensure that all of your questions are answered, and the best plan of care if made for your pet. We also offer telemedicine appointments for more flexible follow up opportunities
