Lexington Animal Clinic is a full service animal hospital that provides; complete medical, surgical and dental care as well as preventative care, breeding management, emergency care and laser therapy. We love pets and the human-animal bond! Its plain and simple – That’s why we do what we do. The doctors and staff at Lexington Animal Clinic love pets and have an aptitude to be detectives to find out what’s wrong and how we can help. Preventing illness and problems keeps pets healthy and makes their owners happy. Diagnosing problems early make them less of an issue later on so pets can lead a longer, better quality life. Dealing with very sick animals efficiently offering modern diagnostics and therapeutics can help a pet and their owner through a very serious and stressful time. Every member of our staff wants to be here for you and your pet!

Dr. Gilbert graduated from the University of Georgia, College of Veterinary Medicine in 1998. After a year in private practice, she went to Auburn University to complete a residency in Theriogenology (veterinary reproduction). Following the residency, she moved to Wisconsin, where she practiced from 2002 until 2009. She and her family (including two black Labradors!) moved here in April 2009 and purchased Lexington Animal Clinic

Mission — Providing "Progressive Medicine with a Personal Touch" and we love pets and the human-animal bond! That’s why we do what we do. Our team is committed to educating our clients in how to keep your pets healthy year round, with good nutrition and exercise. Lexington Animal Clinic stays on top of the latest advances in veterinarian technology and above all, remembers that all animals and pets need to be treated with loving care in every check-up, procedure, or surgery
